Hi!
I'm a medical doctor doing research in HIV epidemiology. I have a data set (Excel) on the number of infected persons in each region in Sweden and Vietnam. I would like to display this data in the form of a map of the respective countries where each region has a bar with height proportional to the number of infected persons (alternatively a color code for each region).
-What free program would be easiest to use for a newbie?
-Where can I get appropriate maps to import?
